We know storm restoration can feel overwhelming, but PRQ is here to make it simple. Below is a clear breakdown of each step from inspection to your brand-new roof.
1. Roof Inspection
A PRQ Setter or Sales Rep will perform a free, no-obligation inspection of your roof and exterior. We’ll take photos, measurements, and document any storm-related damage.
2. File a Claim
If damage is found, we’ll help you file a claim with your insurance company. You’ll receive a claim number and be assigned an adjuster—PRQ will track all of this for you.
3. Adjuster Meeting
PRQ coordinates directly with your insurance adjuster to schedule a site visit. One of our Claims Pros will meet with the adjuster on your property to advocate for full and fair coverage.
4. Labor Meeting
Once your claim is approved, you’ll have a Zoom or in-person meeting with your PRQ Account Manager. We’ll review the scope of work, set expectations, and confirm any upgrade options or add-on trades.
5. Submit Material Order & Permits
PRQ places your custom material order and submits for any required building permits based on your city or HOA requirements.
6. Material Delivery
Materials will be delivered directly to your home, typically a day or two before installation. We’ll let you know what to expect and where the materials will be placed.
7. Schedule Installation
We’ll work with you to choose the best installation date, taking weather and crew availability into account. You’ll receive a confirmation and day-of instructions.
8. New Roof Installation & Clean Up
Our licensed crew will complete your roof replacement in one to two days, depending on size. After installation, we do a thorough cleanup to leave your property better than we found it.
9. Final Inspection
Your Account Manager or a PRQ team member will conduct a final quality inspection to ensure your roof meets all standards and nothing was missed.
10. Finalize the Insurance Process
PRQ works directly with your insurance carrier to submit any supplements, finalize the scope, and handle recoverable depreciation paperwork if needed.
11. Collect Final Payment
Once insurance closes the claim and depreciation is released, we’ll collect the final payment—typically your deductible plus any approved upgrades.
12. Receive Roof Warranties
You’ll receive your workmanship warranty from PRQ, as well as your manufacturer warranty for the roofing system. We’ll send you digital copies and register your warranties on your behalf.
